Revenge Tactic: They might even help or support the target initially, all while quietly collecting information, sowing seeds of destruction, and waiting until the target is at their most vulnerable (emotionally or professionally) to deliver the final blow. This way, the impact is maximized, and the victim never sees it coming.

Description: Traditional gaslighting involves making someone doubt their own reality. In reverse gaslighting, the manipulator subtly manipulates the truth in a way that makes the victim think they’re the one at fault or that they’re overreacting.

The goal is to leave the victim isolated, with no one to turn to for support. Over time, the victim feels increasingly alone and helpless, while the manipulator maintains a strong position of control.
